With several forms of social media being stripped away from her, we haven’t seen or heard much from rapper Azealia Banks lately. But that hasn’t kept the streets from talking and updating us on her latest projects.
And one of them is a short film called Coco.
The film has some big names attached to it, including Common, Lorraine Toussaint, and Jill Scott. The story follows a young woman Coco, played by Banks, who is trying to make life better for herself through her poetry.
There were those who believed that after the Russell Crowe incident, the film would never see the light of day. But judging by the clips that have been shared on Twitter, there’s a possibility that it still might happen.

I have to admit, I didn’t quite know what to expect. But honestly, this looks like it has potential.
